The lake view is hard to beat, and the rooms are clean, simple accommodation for travelers. Breakfast is a simple French one. This isn't the Ritz or a fancy hotel and restaurant, and that's not what it offers. Where it really stands out is the varied lunch and dinner menu. The food is exquisite and incredibly good value. The Menu du Jour costs under £15 at lunch or dinner and gives you a choice of three courses. You need some French to follow Didia's dry humour, but he'll do his best to have fun with the situation and enlighten you. It's my favorite restaurant in the world. I say that as someone who recently sat in Chef Ramseys Kitchen in Dubai and wasn't impressed. Enjoy Mr Spence Eng ApartmentsWales

Sitting on the terrace and looking out over the water is really relaxing. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly.

I've been here twice and would happily come again. Without air conditioning, it's still a 10 out of 10 for me. With it, I'd give the hotel 15 out of 10.

I really enjoyed my meal, though my wife found it a little too salty.

The staff are wonderful and nothing seems too much trouble. The food was lovely too, absolutely brilliant.
