We visited for a week just before the French summer holidays, so it was peaceful and relaxed. The rooms are spacious and have what you need, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Communication was easy since they speak English, French, and Spanish. There are nature activities nearby, as well as small towns for a meal or a walk. It’s a good spot for a laid-back family or couples’ holiday. We’d definitely like to come back.

The pool is lovely, the rooms are good, and the owners are very friendly. Breakfast was fine, with delicious homemade yoghurt. Try the crème de marron. There’s no air conditioning, otherwise I’d give it five stars.

Guests seem comfortable enough to strike up conversations with one another at this happy little spot in the heart of Ardèche. It feels like a family home, with attentive service throughout. Yves, the patriarch, gave us a warm welcome, Jérôme expertly runs the place, and his daughters serve an à la carte breakfast with lots of enthusiasm and their father's good humor. A great address.
