As a cyclist, I felt very welcome here. There’s a separate spot for bikes, though the rooms are spacious enough to bring one inside. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and excellent food. Service was efficient and spot on, but still personal and never rushed. I’d definitely come back!

The friendly staff and the place’s atmosphere were good, but we’d picked it mainly because it was almost the only option on our EuroVelo17 cycle tour. The mattress and bedding really needed replacing. Dinner was decent value, though a little off the mark, and breakfast was poor: the croissants tasted frozen, and the coffee machine wasn’t good. It was OK, but I probably wouldn’t stay again.

The pork ribs were actually a slab of pork belly, cooked beautifully and served with a generous helping of mashed potatoes. My wife’s salad was much better than most I’ve seen, and our friend’s pizza was great too. Service was friendly and very good. Well worth a visit.

We had an amazing stay and felt very welcome. Weekend breakfast is a little late and a bit small if you’re a cyclist.

The place has a charming, ancient look, and there’s parking. Breakfast was average, though. The staff weren’t very attentive: there were no reception details and nobody around to help, so we waited more than an hour to find someone. There was no heater in the room.
