Domaine Mélusine

There's loads of open space, flowers, and birds in a beautiful setting, with a comfy cottage that has everything you need. The website listing is accurate. Staff were nice, the restaurant was very good, and there are fun activities like mini golf, an aire de jeu, and others. The beach area was refreshing, and there are excellent places to hike nearby. It's also super close to Puy du Fou.

The kids can roam all over the Domaine, so it's a great family spot. Domaine Melusine is just 5 minutes by car from Puy-du-Fou. The cottages are clean, fresh, and new, and well appointed, with air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, and the helpful staff speak good English. I highly recommend it.

We chose to drive to Puy Du Fou since the day is tiring and adding the walk back to our accommodation wouldn't have suited us. The site is around a 25 minute walk away, and after the night time cinescenie show we were back at the chalet about 20 minutes after it ended, despite 4000+ people leaving at once. We stayed in AUG-19, visiting Puy Du Fou, and found this smashing new site, opened JUL-18. The chalets are modern, upmarket, clean, and airy. There even seemed to be nightly turn down service. The staff were lovely and keen to make sure we had a great stay. We loved the chalet, probably one of the best caravan type accommodations we've stayed in. I'd definitely recommend considering it if you're going to Puy Du Fou.

The location and restaurant were great, but the house let us down after a week at another place. There wasn't a parasol, so we had to stay inside. I'd suggest adding a parasol for the house, a decent parasol base at the pool, and normal garbage bags that don't break.
