Belambra Clubs "Les Estagnots"

There was no air conditioning or even a fan or ventilation in the apartment. The room was around 40º, and having to put up with that made this the worst stay I've ever had. Unless you're fine with that kind of heat, I'd say don't come.

There was plenty of room around the pool and in the leisure area, and the beaches are the best ones. We also found bike rentals in the hotel area and surf rentals all over the place. It's a safe, peaceful spot for a family holiday. We were surprised to find a new pool and restaurant area that wasn't shown in the hotels com photos.

We've stayed here as a family for over 30 years and usually had good experiences, but this visit was a mess. We couldn't get to sleep until after midnight because of the concert hall/club next door, by the north side of the beach. The front desk basically said, “sorry, it's a tourist destination.” Fair enough, but they should pay attention to the complaints on this site and work out a sound barrier or agreement with “le tube.” They say there's an agreement with the local mayor to stop the music, yet it kept going past midnight. Belambra can do better. Ask to be moved if you're given a room on the north side.

The pool and sports facilities were really well looked after, and both the restaurant and bar were good, with fair prices. The room was a letdown, though. The website photos are misleading: they show the bigger, more modern rooms, while the room we got was smaller and much older.
