La Belledone à Vaujany

The terrace was a lovely spot to look out at La Fare waterfall and the Vaujany cable car, and the apartment worked well for four people. It's at the far end of the ground-floor corridor, with the covered parking on level -1 and cellar storage room number 5 close by. Shops on Place de la Fare, including sports stores, Sherpa supermarket and bakery, are also just steps away. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: a fully equipped kitchen, towel warmers, Wi-Fi, television with a TV icon button 📺, board games, and appliances for fondue, raclette and paninis. The only thing we couldn't find was a corkscrew. The neighbors kindly lent us one, so we got to know them over a bottle of wine. 🍷 Getting to the lifts and sports facilities, including the ice rink, pool and bowling alley, involves escalators and stairs as well as elevators. When those aren't working, access is difficult, so we think the apartment is better suited to people without young children or mobility issues. We stayed from Saturday, January 25th to February 1st, 2025. Mrs. Didier handled check-in and check-out, and Mr. Pacheco was very helpful after we booked through Booking.com. The location is ideal, and we wouldn't hesitate to return if the chance comes up.
