Terresens - Hotel Escapade

The room may have been the smallest I've ever had in a hotel, but it was clean and had enough storage for clothes. The limited space made getting onto the balcony a bit awkward. Breakfast was good, with enough to start the day, though there wasn't much variety. The owners were friendly, and overall it's a good place for a couple of nights if you only plan to use the room for sleeping.

The team were kind and quick to help, and the mountain view was lovely. It’s an easy walk to the center, and you can ski right in and out. The rooms are compact but comfortable, each with its own bathroom. The food was alright too. Just keep in mind it’s closer to hostel standards, with no room service, so bring an extra towel.

We had a very good stay. The food was lovely, and the shared spaces felt cosy. The Neilson team were especially friendly and helpful throughout. Our room had plenty of space, storage, hooks, and a safe; robes and slippers were supplied, and we got our own room keys, unlike at the chalet we stayed in last year. The boot room was warm, spacious, and locked, with ski access straight out and a short run to the first lift. We could ski back right to the boot room. The hot tub and sauna were lovely too.

I had the worst hotel stay I've ever had here. The rooms are so tiny that the beds barely fit, and the daily “cleaning” amounted to making the beds. After just one day, the cleaners broke into my room and stole belongings worth £400. When I raised it with the large gentleman I took to be the manager, he suddenly spoke very little English and was extremely rude. My ski boots were also stolen from the basement on my last day. There’s no security equipment there, so don’t leave your gear in that area. The Jacuzzi has apparently been closed for the past few years, despite being advertised. Avoid this hotel.
