The setting is beautiful, but after two and a half hours we gave up waiting and left, so I can’t say how good the food is. The waitress hadn’t offered us any bread; luckily, the people beside us took pity and shared some of theirs. They said they’d waited two hours themselves and didn’t think the food was that great. You’d be much better off having a drink at the lovely auberge across the road.

We were disappointed with dinner. The food was pretty average, with cheap ingredients, ready bought sauces, and wine from a box. The beef steak was excellent, but unfortunately far too salty. We had to take the full menus, including the children’s menus, and what we paid for them clearly wasn’t worth it.

Motorcyclists are welcome, and there’s some hard standing for bikes under the restaurant terrace. This is a very comfortable pension with good cooking and friendly owners and staff. No English is spoken.
