Isabelle and Marc are attentive without hovering, always around if you want advice. This is an exceptional gîte, with the hosts on hand rather than a key box. Children can use the barn, which has foosball, billiards, a vintage pinball machine and lots of other games. There’s also a large swimming pool and an adorable dog. In short, paradise! The gîte is spotless, nicely decorated and has very comfortable beds, with everything you need to relax by the pool or play the many games in the barn. This was our second visit to Isabelle and Marc’s, and we had another excellent family stay. The warm welcome made it feel like a little haven in nature, the sort of place where you can make wonderful memories. We’ll keep this address in mind for future get-togethers. PS: While you’re there, take the chance to visit a good local vineyard and taste the wine.

We’re already thinking about coming back as a couple. On this second family getaway to this peaceful haven, Isabelle and Marc welcomed us wonderfully again and were kind, caring and friendly, just as on our first visit. This time we stayed in a cottage for five, with two adults and three teenagers. It’s genuinely spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Thanks to both of them for making us feel as though we were on holiday so close to home.

The cottage is comfortable and very well equipped, and there are plenty of ways to keep busy, including ping-pong, a pool table, darts and games. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. It’s a charming building with exposed stone and beams, beautiful floors and tasteful decor. Two small drawbacks: sound carries despite the thick walls, so you can hear the neighbors, and there’s very little separation between the terraces.
