A reply to the “director”: as you can see, level 6 isn’t beginner level. You’re clearly trying to catch up by responding to all these reviews. Try harder next time. :) The room felt more like a dorm than a hotel, with very little closet space and a toilet cubicle that had no proper ventilation. The pillows were really bad, and the lighting was a bit gloomy, though there was plenty of natural sunlight at this time of year. There were hardly any toiletries, but we could get unlimited water, tea, and so on downstairs. The front desk was helpful, and the stay was fairly quiet. The rooms are modern, but bare-bones. I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay since it’s hard to sort out your clothes with nowhere to put them. My partner and I did have a great time reading the DIRECTOR’s entertaining replies to negative or neutral reviews!

The only thing that kept this from being a five-star stay was the lack of a fridge, which we missed on hot summer days when we wanted cold drinks. Otherwise, we were very happy with our eight nights. The breakfast had a great selection, the receptionists were reasonably friendly, and the housekeeping ladies were super nice. Our room was very clean and came with fresh towels every day.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, which is why I’ve given a second star. But I couldn’t easily switch hotels: the city was quite full, and we were travelling with a baby. Mr Chancerel, instead of asking customers to change hotels, perhaps you could ask the owner to improve the bedding and earn positive reviews that way. The mattress was curved, as the picture shows, and the bedding was possibly the worst I’ve ever had. I couldn’t sleep and dreaded having to stay another two nights.

We stayed for three days. The Wi-Fi was very poor. The hotel is divided into two parts, one with no frills and the other with even fewer, labelled “budget” and “styles”, though they’re really the same facility.
