The apartments were clean and laid out really well, and the host was warm, friendly, respectful and generous. There's a barbecue available too. It feels very much like the region, with brackish marshes nearby where you can fish without a license. The ocean is close, with rocky stretches for gathering shellfish and sandy beaches for swimming. There are historical sites from World War II, a reconstructed working windmill, Butterfly Island and plenty more to see.

The welcome was fairly good, but the cottages are extremely dated. You can hear far too much between them, more like staying in a hotel in terms of privacy. There wasn't even a chilled bottle of water or coffee filters. Luckily, we were there just one night. We won't be back.

Really quiet place, with good accommodation in a great location. There's a free shuttle nearby. I'd recommend it for couples or people without children.
