Hôtel Mas de l'Espaïre

The owners are so friendly, efficient, and kind, and their little dog is a sweetheart. We especially appreciated the picnics they offer, which are very handy when traveling by motorcycle. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, and we enjoyed the restaurant too. The hotel is quiet because it’s away from the main road, and everything felt clean and spacious, from the rooms to the terraces. We made the most of the pool, a real bonus. We had a wonderful stay in such a beautiful, peaceful setting, and I really enjoyed our conversations. Thanks again, see you soon, we’ll be back.

The rooms are spacious in keeping with the farmhouse style, the beds are very comfortable, and breakfast is generous. The manager was friendly, always smiling, and quick to answer emails. We spent a night at this magnificent, truly peaceful place. Sadly, the rain that evening meant we couldn’t use the heated pool. One small suggestion would be a more sheltered spot for motorcycles. We’ll definitely keep this address in mind! 👍😊

We spent a full week here with breakfast and dinner included, and were very happy with our choice. The peaceful setting is surrounded by nature, and the pool was a welcome treat after hikes and motorcycle rides in temperatures above 35°C, even in the late afternoon. It was a pleasure to cool off there after a shower. Breakfast was generous, with sweet and savory choices that we enjoyed every morning. The one small downside was the coffee from the breakfast machine. For dinners, booking by 5:30 pm for that same evening gets you a generous meal, with plenty of meat and fish options, 5 or 6 desserts, plus aperitifs and wines. It’s a family-run hotel, and the waitress and whole team were pleasant and smiling, even on some challenging evenings. An excellent stay.
