The room was poorly lit, and there was no freezer, hairdryer, or shampoo. There were three of us but only two beds. The shower is right by the toilet, so water ends up all over it. After going out for a walk, we couldn't get back through the hotel entrance and had to wait for someone inside to let us in.

The motorway location is handy, and breakfast had good coffee and croissants. The rest fell short of the usual IBIS Budget standard: the carpets and decor looked worn, the place wasn't properly cleaned, rubbish was scattered around the car park, and the shower ran cold. The shampoo dispenser was empty too.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. There was a lack of maintenance and cleaning, and some people seem not to understand why rooms need to be cleaned. Corroded pieces falling off the door could also hurt someone's skin.

It was fine for a one-night stop. The hotel hasn't been refurbished yet, and I think it needs it. It should be really nice again once that's done.

A good basic option for the price, and getting on and off the motorway is easy when you're continuing your journey. I liked being able to check in and out by machine without needing any human contact.
