The location, decor, and cleanliness at Au Limousin are all OK, and Levallois-Perret has plenty of restaurants serving all kinds of food. The menu here is small and focused, though, and that's where the real gem is. The Andouillette Véritable with a Five A rating could easily be bland, rubbery, and a disaster. Here it was moist, flavourful, tender, and cooked perfectly. With their equally home made mustard sauce and un petit pichet du vin, it made a lovely meal. If you want to try this very underestimated French dish, Au Limousin is a perfect place to do it. The staff are very nice and speak English much better than I speak French.

I asked for white wine with lunch, and the waitress suggested a pitcher of Petit Chablis. It didn't taste like any Chablis I've had before. The bill was € 38 for 50cl of open wine, an outrageous price. I suspect I was taken for a ride as a foreigner.
