La Lumière de Paris

There are lots of little restaurants nearby, and the river is close too. We felt safe walking back to the hotel. Our room, the girl at reception, and the stay itself were all wonderful, and it's an affordable option in town. Communication was a bit difficult. Their lobby is staffed 24/7, but email replies are hit or miss.

We stayed three nights in the Studio Deluxe with disability access and were very happy with it. Check-in and check-out are all online, with instructions by email, and they also sent the invoice by email. You do have to enter your credit card details in their online tool even if, like me, you booked through Booking.com. A system fault charged me an extra amount by mistake, but they refunded it after I emailed them. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast: induction cooktops, a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, cutlery, plates, and a pan. The air conditioning worked well and was positioned so it didn't blow directly on the bed. The price includes one large and one small towel per person. You can request more towels or daily housekeeping, but those cost extra, and housekeeping isn't otherwise daily. For getting around, the location works well if you're visiting Paris by car. Parking Jules Guesde is a two-minute walk and can be reserved online for several days. The Pont de Levallois - Bécon Métro station is ten minutes away on foot, and Franprix is a one-minute walk.

Martina, the manager, was friendly, smiley, and kind, and gave us helpful tips for things to do in Paris. I spent a wonderful weekend at La Lumière de Paris. The apparthotel is a few kilometers from the Champs-Élysées, and I stayed in an unusual duplex apartment compared with Parisian apartments. Booking directly through the website gave us a reasonable price. It exceeded all my expectations and felt like a lovely place for a romantic getaway, a trip with friends, or simply a bit of pampering. I'll definitely come back.

It's a little farther out, but getting to the city centre is easy and inexpensive. I also liked that the area was quieter. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Good value for money, and I'd definitely stay again.
