We picked a pitch at the back among the trees, which worked especially well for our hammocks. There’s a BBQ area where you can make a fire and eat, and the owners were great, very friendly. The site was tidy, with large pitches, clean amenities and hot showers. The surroundings were quiet too. We visited in September when almost nobody else was around.

The pitches are huge, the staff are friendly, and at night it really does get quiet from 22:00. It’s very close to Calais, with lovely scenery to explore on foot or by bike. The pool and brasserie are tiny, but that’s fine. What I can’t understand is why there wasn’t a sink anywhere in the men’s toilets.

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful campsite, and hope to come back one day. Sorry we missed saying goodbye, your office was closed. We were the three peas in a pod and a bundle of fluff, also known as the English people in the red campervan. Thanks so much.

Fine as a stop before the channel ferry or tunnel, but I wouldn’t say much more than that. The pool was okay, though too shallow for proper swimming, and the toilets were very basic. Staff seemed to get agitated easily. Other guests also affected our stay, with a lot of shouting and the same people running back and forth along the road. Tolerable, but not the best experience.

A convenient place to stop before catching the Calais ferry, with large, fully serviced pitches and clean, thoughtfully designed facilities. The couple running the site were friendly and helpful. It’s set in lovely countryside, and there’s a small, clean pool as well as a kids’ pool with a mini slide and a nice playground. The little restaurant has a good choice of food and drinks.
