The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, and the place was such a peaceful reset from city life. Bazas is only a few minutes away. I’d absolutely recommend staying here for a break from the hustle and bustle.

There’s no privacy, with the owners’ house only a few meters away, and I found the manager unpleasant. Getting there was difficult too: Bazas is far, the gîte is hard to find, and the roads are dangerous and poorly maintained. The beach is two hours away. I think the positive reviews may have been written by accomplices. The gîte seems designed to cut the owners’ expenses at the user’s expense. Misleading, and I don’t recommend this place.

Out in the peaceful countryside, this is a place worth remembering. The cottage was clean, good value for money, and had no windows looking onto the owners’ living quarters. We received a lovely welcome. Thanks again to Audrey and Frederique for their hospitality.

The animals were gentle and affectionate, and the scenery was lovely. Frederic and Audrey helped us in every way they could, and then some. Such a great, peaceful location. We’d come back and recommend it.

It was a beautiful, clean place that felt like a real change of scenery, and everything was functional. Our host was warm and friendly, and very accommodating too. I highly recommend it.
