Dinner is the real highlight here. There's obvious care behind the food, with a real interest in local ingredients and some excellent regional dishes. The building has a traditional, quirky feel, the welcome is warm, and the room was very comfortable. I slept well on the great mattress, and appreciated having the toilet separate from the bathroom. The hotel has what you need, but the village itself has very little beyond a tiny Carrefour market, and no bar. If that suits you, Chablis is only a 15-minute drive away.

We were given a really warm welcome, and they even made our dog feel welcome too, which isn't always a given. Our room was a good size and I'd happily stay longer. Dinner was in a small, cosy dining room with just a couple of tables. The menu was straightforward, with something for different tastes, and the food was nicely prepared and presented. Being in the Chablis region, we also got to try excellent local wine. We stayed overnight and had both dinner and breakfast.

We had a lovely Father's Day meal, with outstanding food and service. The patron greeted us with a handshake, and the waitress was very welcoming. Nothing felt rushed: we could finish our apéritifs before the starter arrived, and our wine before dessert. Definitely worth a visit.

Dinner and breakfast were the standout parts of our stay. Our three-course dinner was delicious and very reasonably priced for what we got. Breakfast had fresh eggs to boil ourselves, plus a great choice of local bread and Viennoiserie. The Relais St Vincent is a beautifully restored 17th-century manor house. The air-conditioned rooms have good facilities, including comfortable beds, well-equipped bathrooms, and tea and coffee making things. A superb experience, 10 out of 10.

About 15 km from Chablis, this place is a hidden gem in Burgundy, with good hotel rooms at a reasonable price and an excellent dinner. We enjoyed the menu for 27 euros with superb Chablis wine, a great match. The reception was friendly, and the meal brought Burgundy's food culture from the Middle Ages to mind.
