The breakfast was very poor, and it's still a 30-minute walk to the city centre. The accommodation is affordable, but there was nobody at reception when we arrived. We parked behind the hotel, though I wasn't sure that was allowed since there was no one to ask.

We found this charming hotel by chance on our first night in France. It's stylish and peaceful, with a lovely view over the canal. Breakfast was a treat, with a varied choice of cheeses and fruit. Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm already thinking about coming back. Warm greetings from Latvia.

We'd booked for a special family occasion and were all ready to enjoy a wonderful meal. I tried speaking French, but the chef clearly misunderstood, then was incredibly rude and wouldn't listen. We left after an embarrassing scene. He seems to think fame gives him an excuse to behave outrageously. This isn't somewhere for a calm, relaxing evening, and I wouldn't recommend going.

The room was very comfortable and great value, and breakfast was delicious. We arrived early with our dog after a nightmare drive from Denmark, and were so grateful the staff let us check in and rest from the heat. Everyone was kind and professional. The location is spot on, by the local canals and a few minutes from a tube station that gets you to the city centre in 30 minutes, unless you'd rather walk. There's also free parking around the hotel. We'll definitely come back!

Les Toquées is easy to reach by public transport, and there's a public outdoor space next door. It made for a beautiful walk into the city centre while sightseeing. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and tastefully designed, and they served a delicious breakfast every morning. I'd definitely book again!
