The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was great. I also appreciated how kind and attentive Caroline was as host. She was available for questions and even brought a fan and coffee capsules. The NOCNOC’s Retro apartment was bright and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen for making meals, and its central location made it easy to get around Lille on foot. Check-in and checkout were simple with a code, so there was no need for a key. We enjoyed our four-night stay and would book this apartment or one of their other places in France again.

The apartment is very nice and in a superb location, but the cleaning and supplies were a letdown. We found dirty socks, papers on the sofas, and unwashed dishes, which is disappointing given the level of service advertised. The place is set up for 15 people, yet there aren't enough glasses or cutlery for everyone, and some bed frames are broken.

The location gets one star from me, but the apartment itself was a big disappointment. It was dirty, the bathrooms were appalling, the dishwasher was clogged, and the Wi-Fi didn't work. We asked for broken things to be repaired and got no response. I don't think a place this dirty should be rented out.

Its location is the only good thing about this apartment. It's dirty, and the towels and sheets we were given were dirty too. The shower and faucet are clogged, and a window won't close. We couldn't get in touch with the owner, who didn't reply to our messages.

From the apartment we looked out over the Grand'Place, and the Christmas lights helped take my mind off the misery of Covid. Everything else was perfect. Thankfully there was a curfew, since otherwise the noise might have bothered us.
