OKKO Hotels Lille Centre

We had a lovely three-day stay, and our furry friend was made very welcome. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with regular, thorough cleaning. Everything was spotless, and the towels and sheets smelled fresh. The location is right in the heart of Lille, and the young, energetic, dynamic team really lifted our mood. There were little snacks in the restaurant, plus coffee and even hot chocolate whenever we wanted. We’d love to return. I’ll definitely bring my own pillow next time, though. Those pillows gave me a headache for three days straight. Thanks for everything.

The lounge was a real plus after a day out exploring, with free tea and snacks whenever you wanted. Weekend checkout at noon was handy, and the staff were super friendly. We really enjoyed staying at Okko Lille. The rooms were lovely, and the location is right in the centre of town. I’d recommend it for a stay in Lille!

Breakfast had a good, wide selection, and the staff were wonderful. The hotel is right next to Paris Gare East train station, and it’s a French chain whose design and comfort live up to Japanese standards. Reception staff were helpful and got us through the process quickly, though the small lobby could feel tight when busy. Rooms were neat and tidy, with a queen size double bed only, no dorm types. The shower has a see-through glass door opening into the bedroom, with a see-through partition, so sharing with someone who isn’t your partner could be challenging. There’s a folding table, steel closet and chair. The WC may feel claustrophobic for larger people. They offer a lift code for access to the higher level and nearby Gare du Nord. There’s also a locker room, and they’re accommodating with those requests. Overall, a pretty good location and hotel, with the constraints mentioned. Chao, till next upload.

The spacious Club lounge had such a calm, relaxed feel, and I really enjoyed spending time there. It’s a wonderful concept, well executed. I’ll plan future trips to France around places where Okko has hotels. One thing I’d improve is the TVs. Smart TVs would be better than Chromecast, which I’ve often found difficult to get working on hotel TVs.
