Pretty cool place.

I was only there for one night, so it was a very short stay. The reviews had made me a bit apprehensive, but the apartment turned out to be quite spacious, with comfortable bedding. There was a working kitchenette, which I didn’t use, and the bathroom had soap, shampoo, and towels. Cleanliness was acceptable. The stairs up to the apartment were a little narrow, and there were no shutters, though that didn’t bother me. It wasn’t very well insulated either. You have to collect the keys at Hôtel Napoléon near the train station, about a 20-minute walk away, then drop them in a mailbox when you leave.

The place was so poorly insulated that every bit of noise carried. During the night, guests made a racket with glass bottles on the stairs, threw rubbish out the window, dragged chairs or other things across the floor, and shouted. The cleanliness was poor too, with mold in the fridge and a very dirty floor. We left the place cleaner than we found it.

The shower was clogged, and after we called, someone only came to deal with it the following day. He seemed completely unsurprised and didn't even ask which room we were in, so I suspect they already knew about it. The room was obviously uncleaned, smelled strongly of stale tobacco and cannabis, and had an undusted floor that made us keep our shoes on. The kettle was rusty and full of limescale, the bed sagged in the middle, and the shutters were broken. We weren't expecting a four-star hotel for that price, but I absolutely can't recommend this place.
