Studio Noah Lille Flandres

We chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of Lille Flanders TGV station, where we were arriving very late. Finding the entrance was the only problem: it’s so small and the hotel sign is nearly invisible, so we walked past it several times. Once we got inside, everything was fine.

The room was cozy and quite nice, and the bathroom was lovely. We also found the hotel restaurant very cozy. The hotel sits right next to the main railway station, with the High Speed rail station another 5-6 minutes away. It’s an easy walk to and from the city center.

The location is excellent if you’ve got an early train from Lille Flanders, just a five-minute walk at most. Service was exceptional at both check-in and breakfast, with really friendly staff who clearly care. The greet hotel Lille Flanders offers very good value for money. The rooms are OK to fine, and the second-floor family room is convenient, with a lift and a separate space for the children. That means parents don’t have to switch off the lights when the kids go to bed. The beds are good. The bathroom is older, with some stains in the shower area, but it’s as clean as an older bathroom can be. There’s a bit of a smell, though.

We were three and stayed for four days, which worked out fine. The hotel is in a pleasant area close to the center. The bathroom wasn't what we expected, though, and there was no fridge even though one was listed. Room service was available only if we asked for it.
