The host made us feel at home, and breakfast arrived right in our room, such a lovely touch. There’s plenty of parking outside the villa, too. We only had one night at L'Oree de Giverny, which felt far too short. The room was both cozy and fancy, and we had an amazing stay. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area, including the Gardens.

We didn't want to leave this little oasis, and we're already looking forward to coming back. Our cottage sat near the river at the back of Veronique’s beautifully kept grounds. We hadn't realized it had two bedrooms, which was perfect for our toddler to sleep separately. There were lovely corners around the cottage to enjoy the plants and the sound of the water. Breakfast was delicious: fruit salad, yogurt, fresh croissants, baguette, and what seemed to be homemade jam. Veronique’s house and the many cozy places to relax made the whole place feel almost magical from the moment we came through the gates.

We had the room beside the stream, and it felt like heaven. The hosts were the warmest and kindest I've ever encountered, and you can feel how much they care about the property and their guests. The setting adds to the area's natural beauty and left us feeling recharged. Easily the best place to stay around here, and possibly the best B&B in France.

The cottage by the river was one of the many lovely places to sit and unwind, and the whole property was beautiful, with spotless rooms. In May 2024, my daughter and I finally made the French countryside trip I'd planned for 2020. I had dreamed of spending time in Giverny exploring Claude Monet and the Impressionists, and staying at Véronique's l'Orée de Giverny became part of that dream. She welcomed us with a warm smile and helped make it happen. She also helped us book dinner that first night, and we appreciated being able to use the bicycles. Most of all, I appreciated the lovely person she is. I don't know if I'll return to that part of France, but every B&B I stay at will be measured against this one. It's an easy walk to Monet's garden and house, about a mile along a quiet country road, with beautiful white French cows watching as you go. The owners were kind and fun. Upstairs guests in the main house share a roomy bathroom with a beautiful shower that I still remember a year later. We had a fabulous stay, and anyone wanting to be near Monet's Garden won't be disappointed with L 'Oree de Giverny.
