La Villa Beaupeyrat

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Beaupeyrat, though a few things could be better. The location was great, just a 5-8 minute walk into town, with free parking and a quiet neighbourhood with beautiful grounds. There was a well-stocked kitchen, although we ate out, and coffee pods for each day. The living room couch and chairs were comfortable, and the outdoor space was lovely for breakfast or aperitifs. The main issue was airflow. There were no fans or AC, and the double windows couldn't be opened fully because one got in the way of the other. Our ground-floor windows opened straight onto the street, with no screens or other protection, so we had to keep them shut. The room also smelled very strongly of fresh paint, and with the doors and windows closed while we were out exploring, it was hard to air it out. The sheets felt scratchy. The outdoor table and chairs were nice to have, but our fiberglass ones irritated our skin, so we had to cover them with our jackets. Other apartments had metal furniture, which would have been better. It's hard to rate the service because there was no staff member or anyone on site to speak to. With a few small changes, especially adding fans, it could have been an even better stay.
