The garden was a real treat, and the dovecote tower was an intriguing historic feature. It also had a practical use, giving us a private way to get from the garden to the quiet street below. Silvia welcomed us and our dog into her beautiful home and secure, secluded garden. The studio was comfortable and well equipped. She was happy to suggest places to visit and struck a lovely balance between host and friend. We couldn't have asked for a more accommodating, friendly host.

Silvia is a brilliant host, and the accommodation is both quirky and beautiful. I loved little touches like opening the apartment's wooden door shutters in the morning, undoing the small sliding locks to see that shimmering green view through the metal framework. There's so much more to discover for yourself. I really didn't want to leave.

The location is superb, and Silvia was a wonderful host with so much knowledge and care. I wish I'd booked a few extra nights on this lovely stop on the way home. I look forward to coming back.

A lovely property in a great part of Loches. It stayed quiet and cool even in the height of summer, and had very well equipped amenities and excellent WiFi.
