The breakfasts were so delicious and homemade that we often skipped lunch, even after cycling some distance most days. We did make room for oysters, prawns and other shellfish, though. We found three excellent suppliers within a mile, and the cheapest had a dozen opened Fines Claires for Euros 5.50. Incredible. We spent eight nights at Goh Lenn d’Er Ria in August 2018, enough time to get to know the place well. We’d carefully compared guides and reviews before choosing, and were glad we did. Marie Christine and Christian were charming, generous hosts. Our room was in the middle of three adjoining first-floor rooms, very peaceful, clean and neat. The house feels cosy, with a lovely garden in a beautiful spot near the sea and lots of good places to visit. The other guests added a lot to the experience too. We met a very nice English couple and three charming, generous French couples, who were patient with our rather ropey French. We’ve found you can learn a lot about a Chambres D’Hotes from the character of its guests. This is a lovely place, highly recommended.

Everything was spotless, and the welcome was excellent. We had a magical three-night stay in a magnificent, very peaceful place.

Our room had been thoughtfully prepared, with tea and sweet treats waiting for us amid the tasteful decor. The garden was lovely, and we enjoyed looking out over the old pond full of birds. Instead of going out that evening, we used the well-equipped garden cabin, with its kitchen, dishes and candles, for a romantic dinner. Breakfast the next morning was superb and homemade. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The whole place felt peaceful and harmonious, but we had other destinations to reach. Thanks to Marie Christine and Christian for the warm welcome and for all the energy and care they put into keeping everything impeccable.

We loved the summer kitchen, which let us cook proper meals and eat on the terrace in the evenings. Great value, too. The house is beautifully decorated beside the pond, our room was spotless, and the welcome was so friendly. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. We’ll definitely come back!

A kitchenette for guests made our stay especially convenient, and there’s a very good little crêperie only 300 meters away. The owners were incredibly welcoming, our room was lovely, and breakfast was plentiful. We spent three nights here in mid-July and would highly recommend the guesthouse. J-P
