The cured meat and cheese were delicious, and the rooms were spacious, colourful, and spotless. But the food and service left us really disappointed. The owners were grumpy and rude, with no greeting or even a smile, and seemed to treat the waitress badly while she rushed around without any kind words from them. We asked for children’s meals and were promised tomato pasta, but the kids got dry, overcooked spaghetti with a tough sausage on top. It cost €15 each. We sent the meals back, yet still had to pay or order a whole new meal. Even a request for three plum tomatoes was refused. The rooms are great for an overnight stay, but I wouldn’t count on friendly service or food that suits hungry little tummies.

The setting was incredible, and the rooms were lovely. I arrived much later than planned, but the women looking after the property were kind and flexible about it. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We found just the peaceful bed and breakfast we wanted for two quiet days in the Pilat region. The location is beautiful, with hiking trails all around. Our hosts were especially charming, welcoming us warmly and sharing useful advice for our stay. Thanks so much for being so kind. We’d be happy to come back.

The meals were a real highlight, especially the seafood pot au feu. We had lovely moments at the restaurant in the evening and again at breakfast. We came as a couple for a weekend away from the kids and picked the perfect place. The welcome was genuinely friendly, and both the surroundings and decor are magnificent. We recommend it without hesitation.
