The room was clean and pleasant, with a comfortable bed, and it was fairly quiet. There’s some grass and trees outside the window, and the shower was very good. The bathroom, though, is absurdly small: a mini sink sits right behind the toilet, leaving hardly any room to stand. The TV didn’t work. I reported it, and they made a note, though it might have been the previous guest who hadn’t told reception. Getting there without a car isn’t easy. I arrived after dark and could barely find the place because there was almost no lighting. Check-in at the machine was almost completely in the dark. I mentioned the lighting to the receptionist the next morning, but she didn’t seem very interested. Early that morning, despite my “do not disturb” sign on the door handle, the cleaning staff talked loudly outside my door.

The big private car park was the one real plus. The location worked for my work trip, but there’s plenty they could improve. My bedsheet had black stains, there was hair in the bed, and the window was dirty. The room was so cramped I couldn’t open my suitcase and still walk around the bed. In the tiny bathroom, the toilet blocks access to the sink. Breakfast was disappointing too. The pancakes smelled of bad eggs, and on one of my two mornings there were only paper forks, spoons, and cups because the ceramic dishes had run out. They didn’t have water at breakfast, just juice. This is only an okay option if your standards are very low and you have nowhere else to go.

We booked this twice, including a night before flying home, and had a good stay both times. On our first visit, we’d been given the wrong room size by mistake, but one call to the clearly posted emergency number sorted it out very quickly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room and bathroom were very clean. We arrived in the early hours, but checking in at the machine on the outside wall was straightforward. There’s a dining area with a buffet breakfast, plus a couple of vending machines near reception for snacks or drinks. I’d recommend it for a short stay and would come back.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and Ellie the Receptionist was fantastic. We’d had a long day driving from U.k, so this was a great stop for the night. Everything’s brand new and lovely and clean, with fresh, crisp linen. The rooms are small but really functional, with what you need. The shower was super strong and gave my back a nice massage before the next day’s drive. The bed was comfy, it was very quiet, and I had a fab night’s sleep. The coffee was really nice too. Great value, and I’ll definitely stop here again.
