There were bedbugs, and we were bitten all over. The shower floor was green, and the carpet was so mouldy it looked like something from a horror film. The woman at the desk didn't even say good morning. It's cheap, but still not worth it. I'd rather sleep in the car.

It's a compact, basic budget room in a quiet spot, handy for an overnight stop. I chose one with a bathroom, and there are dog-friendly rooms too.

A great stopping point when driving between the UK and Murcia, Spain, in either direction. It works well if you're aiming to do the trip over two days with one overnight stop.

I've stayed here twice, and both times the rooms, toilets and showers were clean and well kept. The air conditioning worked well, too. Most of the reception staff have been friendly and professional, and they speak English, which made things easy. On my latest visit, though, a younger, newer receptionist seemed unfamiliar with basic procedures. She couldn't communicate in English, and came across as impolite and unprofessional. That was one bad experience among otherwise good service. I still recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, comfort and value. I hope staff training keeps improving the experience for guests.

The staff were friendly, and the place was run efficiently. Rooms have pleasant decor and feel updated, with clean, practical toilets and showers. Parking felt safe, and it's a five-minute walk to the tram for a good connection to the city centre. We'd come back.
