The woman there was kind, but that was the only positive. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and was in poor repair. We'd paid for breakfast in advance, yet left early without eating because we just wanted to get out.

The bed was okay and there was hot water, but I couldn't sleep after being woken at 3 a.m. by shouting and tapping on the walls. I could hear cars passing constantly, too. The air conditioning didn't work, the remote was faulty, and there were no face towels. The cigarette smell made it an unforgettable night.

The French-style buffet breakfast was fine, and the hotel was generally okay. The loose toilet seat was annoying.

The shower had really strong pressure, which was the one bright spot. The location worked well for my trip from Alicante to Carn, but for the same price I wish I'd stayed at the IBIS. I usually like B&B hotels, but this one didn't feel worth the money.

The automatic check-in wasn't working when we arrived late, so I pressed the assistance button. Within five minutes the night manager had come over and fixed the machine. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay.
