Hôtel Les Sternes

They made things easy for my elderly parents without us even asking, giving us a ground-floor room with convenient access. The rooms were simple, comfortable and clean, and the owners were so kind and welcoming. It’s on the edge of town, but there’s a lovely, easy walk along the seafront into Perros Guirec for restaurants and other places. We’d definitely return.

We had a comfortable room, a little small but with a big bathroom. The carpet was old and stained, the only real downside. Staff were very nice, and the location is good. There’s also a great patio to sit and have a coffee.

The staff were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. My husband and I had a great time at the Sternes hotel. Our room was clean and really comfortable, and we’d happily stay there again on our next visit to beautiful Perros Guirec. I’d recommend it to anyone planning a vacation there.

Our family room was a good size, with a walk-in shower on the ground floor beside a small courtyard. Rooms in the main building may be different. Parking was plentiful, and the hotel was easy to find just off a roundabout. We didn’t notice traffic noise. It seemed better value than some coastal hotels, though this part of the coast may be less attractive. The reception was closed before check-in, so avoid arriving early. Breakfast was an okay buffet, nothing special. The host was very helpful, giving us a map and marking places to visit. It seems popular with cyclists and walkers on the coastal paths. The hotel bar was closed, but there’s a pub next door with limited hours, plus the good Italian Restaurant, Il Bocconcino, where booking is advised. Otherwise, it’s a 10-minute walk or short drive to the marina area’s cafés and restaurants. We cycled west from the hotel to explore the coast. It’s hilly and can be demanding, so an e-bike helps unless you’re young and fit. The coastline is stunning, though it gets busy in summer. Photos show the coast a few miles west of the hotel.
