The manager was great, and when we found there was no AC, which we’d thought all rooms had, they quickly got us fans. The garden and pool are lovely, and the staff were all helpful and nice. We enjoyed the food too. At breakfast, though, some things were missing and service was a little slow. The town is a nice little place for relaxing.

The dining room, food, and service were first class, as good as at any top London hotel. The hotel itself is an older building, but it has plenty of charm and character. We loved the beautiful garden and swimming pool too.

The garden felt like a little heaven, with a lovely pool and a pool room equipped with towels and a shower. We spent three days here for a family event, making the trip from Le Mans, and hope we get the chance to return. The owner and team gave us the French hospitality and cuisine we’d hoped for. The food was amazing, full of skill and flavor, and the rooms were comfortable, nicely decorated, and very quiet. One thing to keep in mind: the high sides of the bathtubs in some rooms could be difficult for older guests.

What an unexpected find in a peaceful small town in a little-known part of LA SARTHE. The hotel is comfortable and professionally run, with a glorious garden along a small river and an attractive pool. There’s an excellent restaurant, plus a bistro next door that uses the same kitchen. I’d certainly stay here again and recommend it.

Everyone was super friendly, and the hotel was well equipped for our short Saturday stay. We really enjoyed the delicious dinner, especially the local chicken and eggs.
