The team and location were nice, and there’s a beautiful view, but I sadly wouldn’t return. The room was unbearably hot, and without air conditioning I wouldn’t recommend staying in summer. WiFi didn’t work on the second floor and barely worked elsewhere in the hotel, so I had to go somewhere else to do work emails. My room wasn’t serviced during my stay. I was also charged 21euros for rice and some mushrooms, which seems a little insane. After the owner’s reply, I want to be fair: I’ve only said what happened and also mentioned the good parts. The things I raised can be improved, though I’m sure some guests wouldn’t mind the heat or lack of WiFi. My room wasn’t left unmade because I was there. I left at 9:50 for an appointment in Argeles. I play the radio quietly in the morning, so the comment about loud music was unnecessary. The dinner refill was free because the side dish was tiny, just two small carrot slices and two pieces of courgette, and I’d hiked all day. I’ve been fair in mentioning the friendly team and beautiful view. The owner didn’t need to respond that way.

The team are always friendly and provide first-class service, and both the generous breakfast and high-quality restaurant were highlights. It’s a fantastic base for exploring the Pyrenees from Argelès Gazost, tucked above town with incredible views.

We’d love to return. This little boutique hotel is a real gem for couples, set somewhere peaceful with incredible mountain views. The staff were so kind, professional, and ready to help. 💎

I couldn’t have picked a better base for three nights. The hotel sits in a small village in the heart of the Pyrenees, with a superb restaurant and a pub just sixty metres away. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
