Camping Plein Soleil - Mobil home

The pool is good and would probably be really enjoyable in summer, and there's a basic playground for kids. Staff were friendly, but spoke virtually no English. The bathroom was clean, though there was no toilet paper in the cubicle. The hot shower was nice, but the water cut out every five seconds, which got annoying. It's decent value, but there are better options. Nothing was terrible, but I wasn't impressed. If I come back to the area, I'd look elsewhere.

We left and found another campsite nearby. This one is in an industrial area beside a busy street, and most of it is taken up by fixed houses. We had no choice about where to pitch, and when we arrived, the welcome was almost nonexistent. An unfriendly staff member just pointed us to a spot.

The owners were very, very welcoming. It's perfectly located for visiting Lourdes, with clean toilets, hot showers, and a heated indoor pool.

Getting a caravan pitch was difficult to manoeuvre into or out of, so a mover is essential with a caravan. The location is nice, the owners are friendly, and the sanitary facilities are new and very clean.
