We’ve stayed at Jeanne D'Arc several times with large school groups and always get looked after well by Helen, Cathy, and the whole team. They’re patient with a big group and cater to everything we need. The location works perfectly too, about a ten-minute walk to the Sanctuary and close to other parts of town. This time we requested a modified menu, which went down well. Each meal had three courses, so nobody was left hungry or wanting more. The rooms are clean and practical, and any concerns get sorted straight away. We’re looking forward to booking Jeanne D'Arc again and know we’ll get a fantastic welcome.

The location was peaceful, and it’s a short 10-15 minute walk to the Cathedral and the main pedestrian street. The front desk staff were okay. My room was small and standard, and felt dated. Breakfast didn’t offer much and wasn’t especially tasty. Fine for a one-night stay.

I’ve brought youth groups here for years, and the staff have always been amazing, helpful, and diligent. Helen is a wonderful hostess. It’s hard to find a hotel with a happier, more pleasant feel.

The kitchen staff were awesome, professional, and so friendly, as were the reception ladies. But the room felt nothing like a four-star hotel. Everything was old, and the shower was horrible, with water only dripping out bit by bit, so a shower took an hour. The soundproofing was very bad. We heard every footstep and conversation in other rooms, and when the woman upstairs walked or talked, it felt like she was in our room. I barely slept during my stay.

Dinner was incredible, and the room is amazing. It’s my first day here and the hotel already feels great. A year later, it’s still as amazing as last year, maybe even better. I’d highly recommend it.
