The meal Gerard & Yvette arranged for our family and the other couple staying that first night was amazing, and we enjoyed talking with them even more. They also gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit nearby. They made us feel so welcome and were accommodating in every way. We had the nicest stay and would love to come back. They greeted us with so much warmth and joy!

The setting is beautiful and quiet, with stunning views, and it's a great base for cyclists and walkers heading to the famous local cols. Yvette and Gerard are attentive hosts, while still giving you room to enjoy their fabulous home. Everything is presented meticulously and set up for comfort, from the luxurious jacuzzi and sauna to the high quality mattresses. Breakfast was delicious, with local artisanal bakery produce and homemade or locally made jams.

The owl made of shells was our favourite of all the strange and wonderful niknaks, and I really liked the building's decor. My girlfriend and I stayed for one night while visiting family in Lourdes, and we were glad we did. We got to relax in the Bigourd'in hot tub, steam room and sauna at very fair prices, and had the spa facilities to ourselves from 5pm to 8pm. Our room was huge, the bed super comfy, and towels, dress robes and flipflops were provided. We eat vegan, so breakfast was mostly tartines with spreads and compote, though they also offered things like bacon and cake. The hosts were lovely, and even though my girlfriend did all the French talking, we felt comfortable and at home while we were there. We'll definitely visit again when we're in Lourdes. Many thanks! We felt comfortable and relaxed during our Pyrenees vacation, and the spa facilities were fabulous. Yvette and Girard were extremely kind to us. The food and wine were lovely, and the desserts delicious. Thank you!

La Bigourd'in turned out to be a perfect base for my cycling holiday, away from the crowds of Lourdes and Angeles-Gazost but still close to all my cycling pursuits. It was chance that brought me there, and after spending over a week with Yvette & Gerard, I had an incredible time. The house is comfortable, the rooms tastefully done, and Gerard made great flavors each evening with locally sourced cuisine. I speak only limited french, but Gerard went out of his way to help me find services so I could keep cycling. I can't wait to return to the area and stay in their wonderful home.
