Mas La Cheneraie

At Mas La Cheneraie, you can slow down and enjoy this lovely corner of Provence. It's quiet enough to hear the breeze and crickets, with little else going on. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, and the village is an easy stroll away for plenty of good food and other options.

We returned to Mas La Cheneraie for a second visit, staying a week, and love how quiet and laid-back it is. Aurelie and Sebastian are so welcoming and supportive, and clearly want guests to enjoy themselves. Each morning, they bring a lovely fresh breakfast to the room. The property has a pool and space to relax around it, and our room had its own little area at the back where we could sit and eat. It's just outside lovely Lourmarin, about a pleasant 10-12 minute walk to the center and back on summer evenings, with lots of great places to eat there. A great spot for couples.

The quiet setting was such a nice surprise, just a few minutes from the centre of Lourmarin village. Our room felt new, clean and spacious, and we had a private outdoor spot to relax. Aurelie and Sébastien were so welcoming and flexible, they really made us feel at home. Aurelie's homemade local breakfast treats were something we looked forward to each morning. One of my favourite stays in France this summer. We only wished we could have stayed longer, and we'd happily come back. Thanks, Aurelie and Sébastien!

We had our infant with us, which can usually make travel tricky, but everything worked out perfectly for us here. The place is tucked into a peaceful corner of Lourmarin and still just a short walk from the village centre. Sebastien, Aurelie, their kids and Lucky the dog made us feel welcome from the start, and kept going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. A really lovely stay with generous hosts. We hope to return.
