Hôtel la Croisière

We had no tables to set our plates on during meals, and everyone stayed bundled up in their coats. I was there for a day of work, and the place was so cold we had to keep our coats on all day. It doesn't really make me want to return.

The rooms were uncomfortable, with poor soundproofing that let us hear people walking and talking in the hallways. But the worst part was the hotel manager's disrespectful welcome. We'd booked one triple room and one double room by phone, yet when we arrived we were charged for three double rooms. He didn't apologize, and instead was unpleasant and insulting, making it clear we could leave if we didn't want those rooms. We felt like a nuisance and were treated condescendingly. Avoid at all costs.

When I arrived, the building was closed, and people in the adjacent parking lot confirmed the hotel had been shut for some time. I couldn't reach the property by phone or email despite booking through Booking.com, and there was no hotel contact information available. I had to find somewhere else to stay.

The rooms are basic and breakfast was meager, so it's just fine for a stopover. There's a spacious parking lot on site. If you want to eat at the restaurant in the evening, you need to reserve ahead.
