For anyone looking for peace and fresh air, I’d say keep looking. There are several gîtes close together here. Our neighbours were there to party and played loud music all night, to the point that even people from the village premises nearby were fed up. The managers only timidly asked them to close their windows, as though that would stop the music coming through. There were also noisy families having one barbecue after another, making it hard to sit outside, open the windows, or hang washing.
