Luna made the visit especially memorable, walking us through the thoughtful winemaking and explaining the hand-picking around mid September. Their approach includes organic production, low carbon emissions, no-sulfite wine, and carefully made reds. We also enjoyed tasting their wines on this huge property, which has a pool and about 9 hectares of vines, including 1 hectare of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris, Semillon, and Muscadet. The Bordeaux Blanc was dry, fruity, fresh, and sophisticated, exactly what we needed while cycling in 35-degree heat. A heavenly stop, highly recommended. Thank you Chateau La Grande Clotte!!! ❤️❤️❤️

The picnic under the trees was a real highlight, with local treats thoughtfully picked out for us. We also had a lovely time discovering Saint-Émilion and the surrounding vineyards by bike. It was a beautiful stay at your château, and a heartfelt thank you to the whole team.

The pool was a lovely place to unwind with the other guests, and we rented E bikes from the hotel to explore the French countryside for a day. Sylvia was an amazing host and did everything she could for us. The setting felt idyllic, and we were peaceful from the moment we arrived. We only stayed one night, though we could have happily stayed for 100 more. A 10/10 stay, and we'll miss this little piece of French heaven until we come back.

The bike tour was so good, definitely do it if you're staying here. Julie and Cindy also gave us excellent recommendations and went above and beyond as hosts. We spent two nights at Château La Grande Clotte and loved the peaceful atmosphere they have created. We'd absolutely come back if we're in the area again.

The wine blending class with Bordeaux varietals was a lot of fun. The instructor was kind and really knew their stuff. The wines were delicious and affordable too.
