We came away with six bottles after tasting wine at Chateau la Rose Perriere, the lovely vineyard of the Sylvian family. Before that, Thomas showed us around the Sylvian Cooperage, patiently answering all our many questions and explaining the many steps involved in making barrels. It's truly an art. My husband and I had a fabulous time on the tour and would highly recommend visiting both places.

We'd definitely return to La Rose Perriere. The three rooms feel almost new, with modern, high-end fittings, and look out over the beautiful vineyard. The staff were so friendly, and after closing we could use nearly all the gardens and patios, which made the place feel like our own private retreat.

A lovely escape right in wine country. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are fabulous, and our room was great. The bathroom was bigger than many people's living rooms. I can thoroughly recommend it.

Thomas was so kind and welcoming. We got a vineyard tour and wine tasting when we arrived, which was a nice touch. There are only three guest rooms, set in a quiet working vineyard, and ours was beautiful, clean, and spacious, with a roomy bathroom and comfortable bed. Breakfast was nice and the wine excellent. Nothing to complain about, we'd gladly come back.

After a delicious breakfast, the kind and helpful staff gave us a private tour and wine tasting. We were sorry to leave. The property is beautifully cared for and surrounded by French vines, and the rooms, especially Versailles, are stunning. It really feels like being royal in a movie. We'll be back for sure.
