L'Occitane

The view across the valley from our room was lovely, and the pool is stunning. Breakfast was a real feast, all homemade by the host, especially the vineyard grape juice and the fresh tart with seasonal fruit. We also slept better here than at any other hotel, thanks to the incredibly comfortable bedding. It's a magnificent, authentic building with thoughtful decor, a lovely spot for a restful weekend.

A lovely base for seeing the nearby sights. The French countryside around it is so peaceful, and there's plenty to enjoy at the place itself: time outside, a swim, local cheeses, or a walk.

Very pleasant stay with a friend. It's a typical village made entirely of stone, but be ready for the narrow, winding road. Only one car can get through at a time, and you'll need good legs.

We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, who really went out of her way for us. The rooms are spacious and quiet, just right for unwinding. Make sure to try the breakfast and pool.
