The gardens and old mill are beautiful, and the family running the place were super friendly. Their homemade honey and marmalade were a treat, and the surrounding countryside is breathtaking. We slept deeply to the sound of the river flowing beneath the mill and owls in the woods. We stayed on our way back from Spain to Holland and would strongly recommend ‘le moulin’ to travelers after the pleasures of real rural france. 10/10.

The property is lovely and tucked away in peaceful nature, while still close to places worth visiting. Our host gave us a very warm welcome and was passionate, friendly, and helpful. We had a great stay and would love to come back. Thank you for such a lovely time. Cathy and Eric

The mill is so calm and peaceful, and it makes a good base for walks and trips around the Tours region, including castles and vineyards. We spent three very pleasant days here. Thanks to Stéphane and Hélène, who were attentive hosts and gave us helpful advice.

Moulin Hodoux was such a lovely discovery. The room was just right, with really comfortable bedding, and the location makes it easy to visit beautiful sites both east and west of the Loire. Stéphane welcomed us warmly and took great care of us throughout. Thanks again for a superb stay. We’d be very happy to come back.
