The owners really made Le Prielle feel welcoming from the moment I arrived. They were kind and attentive, made sure I had what I needed, and happily shared what they knew about the area. I felt like part of the family. The gîtes are comfortable and thoughtfully put together, with rustic touches alongside modern amenities. I also appreciated the care for the environment, from the natural local materials to the effort to reduce waste. You can see that sustainability matters to the owners. Set in the French countryside, Le Prielle is a peaceful place to reconnect with nature and leave feeling refreshed. It was a special stay, and I’d love to come back.

We chose Le Prielle for a week with eight friends to celebrate my 30th birthday in March, and it was a fantastic setting for it. There was plenty of room for relaxed meals together, indoors or outside, and one evening we fired up the BBQ and enjoyed the surroundings. The gîtes were spotless, spacious, and very well looked after. We split the week between skiing in the Pyrenees, wine tasting, and exploring nearby. Paulette and Simon were warm and welcoming, and their local tips made planning everything easy and added a lot to the trip. We’d happily return. It was a memorable celebration, and I can’t recommend Le Prielle highly enough.

We rented every cottage for our wedding, and the large capacity made it a great place for a family gathering. Relatives had come from all over the world, and people got back together, sometimes meeting new friends too. The grounds were spacious, with lots to enjoy: a pool, pétanque court, trampoline, ping-pong table, sandbox, fruit trees, and badminton court. Our hosts were delightful, there when we needed them without intruding. It’s a warm, welcoming retreat in nature, in a beautiful region. We were amazed at how ruined barns had been turned into such comfortable cottages. Well done, and highly recommended. Djamil ABDELAZIZ, Nouméa, cottage rented in September 2025.
