The restaurant was uneven: breakfast was much better than dinner, though by 8am on the second day several things were gone and some pastries seemed to be from the day before. A few dinner dishes were decent, but the pasta was inedible. Staff were polite, if not very present. I was there for a two-night business event, and the countryside setting outside Paris was scenic and well suited to corporate activities. It was colder than I expected for early September. My room in the main building was spacious but dated, and it hadn’t been cleaned on the second day. Maybe I needed to put a sign on the door, but the signs were only in French and hard to understand if you don’t speak it. It’s a charming spot for business gatherings, with lovely surroundings and potential for outdoor activities. I wouldn’t come back for a personal holiday.
