The only downside was how short our stay was. Jean's welcome, his presence at breakfast and other moments, and the friendly atmosphere made us want to come back in 2025. Rustine, just as adorable as the garden's owner, added to that warmth. We spent three magical nights at Le Jardin des Violettes. It's a beautiful place in a captivating, nature-rich region, with authentic comfort and an almost complete calm that made it easy to rest. The garden is laid out like an English garden, with surprises throughout, and the whole project reflects the passionate work of a wonderful couple. It really earns the name bed and breakfast. Along with the warm welcome, it was easy to have a friendly chat and share our interests. Breakfast was hearty and friendly, and the host gave us a wonderful welcome. The spacious, comfortable room and superb garden made this a great place. Rustin was adorable and welcoming too, and very well behaved. We recommend it.

The kids liked the play area upstairs, and everyone in the family slept well in the master suite. We were there with three children, two adults, a dog, and a cat. The breakfast was generous, with much of it homemade. Our timing meant we couldn't enjoy the garden, but the place was peaceful and restful.

We had a lovely evening with other garden enthusiasts, and the meal made with produce from the garden was delicious and very reasonably priced. Apparently Françoise can make one of the region's best sauerkraut dishes if you ask. The welcome was wonderful, the setting idyllic, and the room very comfortable. The garden was fantastic too. Thanks to them and the other guests for such a delightful experience. Francis and Laurence
