The rooms and beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. It’s a lovely place, but a 5 p.m. check-in is much too late after a long drive. There were no exceptions, and we couldn’t understand why we weren’t allowed to use the pool while waiting for the rooms to be ready.
We’ve been back for a third visit, and it’s still great. The garden and pool are lovely, and the place is clean and well equipped. It feels quite remote, though the village has great amenities, and the surrounding countryside is beautiful. It’s now a rental property rather than a B&B.
The breakfasts, with lovely local and home-cooked food, were amazing, and the hosts were lovely too. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in for years. See you again 😋
