Out in the countryside, it’s such a peaceful, lovely place. The owners made us feel very welcome, and the homemade breakfast was both delicious and incredibly generous. We had a delightful stay and will definitely be back.

We loved how quiet it was, and being near the sea was a real plus. At Clos du Logis, we stayed for two nights and found the room clean and comfortable, with everything you’d expect from a bed and breakfast, including Wi-Fi. The owners welcomed us warmly, and breakfast with homemade products was excellent. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommended.

Maintenay worked well as a starting point for trips to nearby French towns, and we found the stay very good value. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a good bed; the people there were friendly too. Breakfast was French in style, nicely presented, and tasty, with lots of homemade jam, cheese, and delicious bread. It is quite remote, though, and mobile reception and Wi-Fi were poor.

The room was fine, but I’ve never arrived somewhere to find the host out and the door shut. Breakfast was a bit disappointing too: the bread wasn’t fresh that day, some of the homemade jam dated back to 2018, and there were no pastries. At least there were bread cakes. There was no Wi-Fi either 😔😔
