We only had to take a short detour from the autoroute to reach the Chateau, which made it a handy place to stop on our way through France. The grounds are lovely to wander around, and the hosts were warm and so helpful.

For anyone interested in the WW1 battlefields, the hosts can provide maps and information about visiting these poignant sites. We also found it easy to get to the roads leading to St Quentin, and took an Uber there for an afternoon of drinks. The wife and I spent a week at this beautiful building and loved it. The family who own and run it are amazing, and Martin and Vicky the two donkeys deserve a hello every day.

Caroline was such a lovely hostess, and nothing felt like too much trouble. Our room was stunning, with its own bathroom, and breakfast was continental. It was so peaceful and quiet at the Château. We'd highly recommend it.

We hadn't booked dinner in advance, so we weren't able to eat here. A short drive to Saint Quentin turned out well, though, and we found the lovely Villa D'isle restaurant. Caroline also sorted gluten free bread at breakfast for my wife's gluten intolerance, which we appreciated. The large room had separate beds for the kids, plus lovely high ceilings and a dressing room between the bedroom and bathroom. The grounds are beautiful and offered some great photo opportunities. Caroline was friendly and helpful throughout. It was a gorgeous stop on our way south from the UK, with the motorway only minutes away and Saint-Quentin nearby for town amenities. I'd highly recommend this authentic French Château experience.

There are donkeys to spot from the window, which is hard not to love! We keep choosing this place on the way to and from France because it's so handy, close to the motorway, and we love the owners, Caroline and Gaeton. They're always helpful and accommodating.
